Vaise taan punjabi mutyaars udhan hi rajj ke sohniyan hundiyaan ne. but still to add more charm to their beauty they decorate themselves for their beloved . in the eyes surma, nosepin or laung , challa ring in the finger,{wangas} bangles in the hands, jhanjhar {pajeb} in the foot are must wears for the pretty mutiyaars. they also braid their hair with parandiyaan of all colours mostly matching their attire.in punjabi culture adornment and dressing is important as it is symbolic of well being and happiness. especially for the married ones haar shingaar is a must. many poets compose poems and singers sing of it.

te punjabiyan di hogayi balle balle!!!!!!!!

Dances form the very soul of Punjab.it is the ultimate expression of the happiness which resides in the hearts of all Punjabis.to describe a few of them bhangra occupies the most fame and popularity besidesgiddha. I call the bhangra the dance of the macho man!!! It involves a lot of energy and quick reflexes and actions.with a dhol then the villagers crcle round and round in leaping laughter giving a byaana of their khushhaali.singing balle ballee hogayi mitro.the naddies howsoever compete with the bhangra ghabroos by dancing giddha in which songs called bolis are sung.the tempo is to quick.mimicry is also very famous in thisdance ve dhol jageero da!!!. A little les famous dances of Punjab are jhummar, luddi and gatka.in the gatka dance two males dance with sticks to their drums.and to me it seems more like martial arts!!!the jhummar dance is called the dance of ecstasy and is done by thefather ,the son ,and the grandson altogether in all love.the luddi dance is least famous and is also called the snake dance because of the snake like movements involved in the dance.dance good or bad doesn’t matter dance to the beat is as if the motto of every punjabiss life.
